  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • Zest of 1 lemon
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Chopped fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
  • Lemon wedges for serving (optional)

Instructions

  • 1. Cut the chicken breasts into bite-sized pieces. Pat them dry with paper towels and season with salt and black pepper to taste.
  • 2. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium-high heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  • 3. Add the seasoned chicken pieces to the skillet with the garlic and butter. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through.
  • 4. Squeeze the juice of 1 lemon over the cooked chicken. Sprinkle the lemon zest evenly over the chicken as well.
  • 5. Toss the Lemon Garlic Butter Chicken in the skillet to coat the pieces evenly with the lemon and garlic butter sauce.
  • 6. If desired, garnish with chopped fresh parsley for added flavour and presentation.
