  • 1/4 cup chicken broth
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Chopped fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
  • Sliced green onions for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  • 1. In a large skillet, heat the butter and olive oil over medium-high heat until the butter has melted.
  • 2. Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about 30 seconds until it becomes fragrant.
  • 3. Sprinkle the Cajun seasoning evenly over the shrimp, coating them thoroughly.
  • 4. Place the seasoned shrimp in the skillet and cook for about 2-3 minutes per side, or until they turn pink and are cooked through. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set them aside.
  • 5. In the same skillet, pour in the heavy cream and chicken broth. Stir to combine and let it simmer for about 2-3 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken.
  • 6. Return the cooked shrimp to the skillet, and toss them in the creamy Cajun sauce. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes, ensuring the shrimp are heated through and coated with the sauce.
  • 7. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
