  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground sage
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (adjust to your preferred level of spiciness)
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • Cooking oil for frying (such as olive oil or coconut oil)

Instructions

  • 1. In a mixing bowl, combine the ground pork, salt, black pepper, ground sage, dried thyme, crushed red pepper flakes, garlic powder, and onion powder. Use your hands or a spoon to mix the ingredients thoroughly.
  • 2. Divide the seasoned pork mixture into equal portions and shape them into patties. You can make them as thin or thick as you prefer.
  • 3. Heat a skillet or frying pan over medium-high heat and add a small amount of cooking oil.
  • 4. Once the skillet is hot, carefully place the sausage patties in the pan. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they are browned and cooked through. Make sure they reach an internal temperature of 160°F (71°C).
