- 1 pound ground turkey
- 4 cups shredded cabbage
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can (14.5 ounces) diced tomatoes, drained
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
- 1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- 2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the ground turkey and cook until browned. Break it apart with a spatula as it cooks.
- 3. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet with the turkey. Cook for a few minutes until the onions are translucent.
- 4. Add the shredded cabbage, diced tomatoes, paprika, thyme, salt, and black pepper to the skillet. Stir to combine and cook for about 5 minutes, until the cabbage is slightly wilted.
- 5. Transfer the turkey and cabbage mixture to a baking dish.
- 6. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the top of the casserole.
- 7. Place the casserole in the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
