1 medium onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 diced tomatoes, with juices
1 tomato sauce
1 diced green chilies
250ml beef broth
2tbsp chili powder
1tsp ground cumin
1/2tsp paprika
1/4tsp cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)
1tbsp olive oil
Salt and black pepper to taste
Shredded cheddar cheese for garnish (optional)
Sour cream for garnish (optional)
Chopped fresh cilantro for garnish (optional)
Sliced jalapeños for garnish (optional)
Sliced avocado for garnish (optional)
