Ingredients
- 1 medium cauliflower head, cut into small florets
- 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup cream cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon mustard powder
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Chopped fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- 1. Cut the medium cauliflower head into small florets. Set aside
- 2. In a large pot with a steamer basket, steam the cauliflower florets for about 5-7 minutes until they are tender but still slightly firm. Drain and set aside.
- 3. In a saucepan, combine the heavy cream, cream cheese, grated Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, and mustard powder over medium-low heat. Stir constantly until the cheeses are melted and the mixture is smooth. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
- 4. In a large mixing bowl, combine the steamed cauliflower florets with the cheese sauce. Toss to coat the cauliflower evenly.
- 5. Transfer the cauliflower mixture to a baking dish. Sprinkle the shredded sharp cheddar cheese evenly over the top.
- 6. Place the baking dish under a broiler for 2-3 minutes, or until the cheese on top is bubbly and golden brown. Watch carefully to avoid burning.
