  • 1 pound spicy Italian sausage links, sliced into rounds
  • 1 small head cabbage, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup diced onions
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Chopped fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  • 1.In a large skillet or wok, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.
  • 2.Add the sliced spicy Italian sausage rounds to the skillet. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sausage is browned and cooked through. Remove the cooked sausage from the skillet and set it aside.
  • 3.In the same skillet, add the diced onions and minced garlic. Sauté for about 2-3 minutes until the onions become translucent and fragrant.
  • 4.Add the thinly sliced cabbage to the skillet. Stir-fry the cabbage for about 5-7 minutes or until it starts to soften and turn slightly golden.
  • 5.Return the cooked sausage to the skillet with the cabbage.
  • 6.Season the stir-fry with red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper to taste. Adjust the level of spiciness by adding more or fewer red pepper flakes.
  • 7.Continue to stir-fry for an additional 2-3 minutes until all ingredients are well combined and heated through.
  • 8.If desired, garnish your Keto Spicy Sausage and Cabbage Stir-Fry with chopped fresh parsley for added flavour and presentation.
  • 9.Serve your spicy and satisfying stir-fry hot as a keto-friendly dinner.
