- 1 pound spicy Italian sausage links, sliced into rounds
- 1 small head cabbage, thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup diced onions
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Chopped fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- 1.In a large skillet or wok, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.
- 2.Add the sliced spicy Italian sausage rounds to the skillet. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sausage is browned and cooked through. Remove the cooked sausage from the skillet and set it aside.
- 3.In the same skillet, add the diced onions and minced garlic. Sauté for about 2-3 minutes until the onions become translucent and fragrant.
- 4.Add the thinly sliced cabbage to the skillet. Stir-fry the cabbage for about 5-7 minutes or until it starts to soften and turn slightly golden.
- 5.Return the cooked sausage to the skillet with the cabbage.
- 6.Season the stir-fry with red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper to taste. Adjust the level of spiciness by adding more or fewer red pepper flakes.
- 7.Continue to stir-fry for an additional 2-3 minutes until all ingredients are well combined and heated through.
- 8.If desired, garnish your Keto Spicy Sausage and Cabbage Stir-Fry with chopped fresh parsley for added flavour and presentation.
- 9.Serve your spicy and satisfying stir-fry hot as a keto-friendly dinner.
