  • 8 large lettuce leaves (such as iceberg or butter lettuce)
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Sour cream for garnish (optional)
  • Chopped fresh cilantro for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  • 1. In a skillet, cook the ground chicken over medium-high heat, breaking it apart with a spoon as it cooks. Cook until it's no longer pink and has browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  • 2. Add minced garlic, chili powder, cumin, salt, and black pepper to the cooked chicken. Stir and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until the spices are fragrant and well combined.
  • 3. In a bowl, combine diced avocados, diced tomatoes, and diced red onion. Mix well to create an avocado salsa.
