- 6 large jalapeño peppers
- 6 slices of bacon, cut in half
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Toothpicks (for securing bacon)
Instructions
- 1.Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- 2.Slice the jalapeño peppers in half lengthwise and remove the seeds and membranes. Be sure to wear gloves or wash your hands thoroughly afterward to avoid transferring the spicy oils to your skin.
- 3.In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, shredded mozzarella cheese, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until all the ingredients are well incorporated.
- 4.Fill each jalapeño half with the cheese mixture, making sure not to overfill.
- 5.Wrap each stuffed jalapeño half with a half-slice of bacon and secure it with a toothpick. Repeat for all the poppers.
- 6.Place the bacon-wrapped jalapeño poppers on the prepared baking sheet.
- 7.Bake in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes or until the bacon is crispy and the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- 8.Once done, remove the poppers from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes.
- 9.Serve your Bacon-Wrapped Jalapeño Poppers hot as a delicious and keto-friendly appetiser or snack.
