  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • Zest of 1 lemon
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Chopped fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
  • Lemon wedges for serving (optional)

Instructions

  • 1.Ensure that the large shrimp are peeled and deveined. Pat them dry with paper towels and season with salt and black pepper to taste.
  • 2.In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium-high heat.
  • 3.Add the minced garlic to the melted butter and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  • 4.Add the seasoned shrimp to the skillet with the garlic and butter. Cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side, or until the shrimp turn pink and are cooked through.
  • 5.Squeeze the juice of 1 lemon over the cooked shrimp. Sprinkle the lemon zest evenly over the shrimp as well.
  • 6.Toss the Lemon Garlic Butter Shrimp in the skillet to coat them evenly with the lemon and garlic butter sauce. If desired, garnish with chopped fresh parsley for added flavor and presentation.
  • 7.Serve your keto-friendly Lemon Garlic Butter Shrimp hot as a delightful and satisfying meal.
