Ingredients
- 12 large white mushrooms, cleaned and stems removed
- 1/4 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (adjust to your spice preference)
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- 1.Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- 2.Clean the mushrooms and remove the stems. You can either discard the stems or finely chop them to use in the filling.
- 3.In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, grated Parmesan cheese, shredded mozzarella cheese, minced garlic, dried oregano, dried basil, red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper. Mix until all the ingredients are well combined.
- 4.Fill each mushroom cap with the cheese mixture, packing it down gently.
- 5.Place the stuffed mushrooms on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or in an oven-safe dish.
- 6.Bake in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes or until the mushrooms are tender, and the cheese is golden and bubbly.
