1 bunch of fresh asparagus spears (about 20 spears)
5-6 slices of bacon
1tbsp olive oil
Salt and black pepper to taste
Optional: grated Parmesan cheese for garnish

Recipe

    Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

    Wash the asparagus spears and trim the tough ends. You can do this by holding one end of an asparagus spear and snapping it. It will naturally break where the tough part ends, and you can discard the bottom part.

    Divide the asparagus spears into bundles of 4-5 spears each.

    Take a slice of bacon and wrap it tightly around a bundle of asparagus spears. Repeat with the remaining asparagus bundles and bacon slices.

    Place the bacon-wrapped asparagus bundles on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

    Drizzle olive oil over the wrapped asparagus, and season with salt and black pepper to taste..
